Jesse Martin, owner of Your Story Counseling, wasn’t happy with his website. The colors were wrong, the text had grammatical errors, and some of the pages just weren’t looking right. He reached out to see if I could help.

Websites are often the first thing people look at, so I knew this was a valuable opportunity to help his counseling practice build trust and credibility with potential clients before they filled out the contact form.

The first step was to match the color scheme of the Your Story Counseling website with the logo. The jarring pink turned into a softer blue, and the pages looked more unified. The text was cleaned up with minimal changes. Preserving voice is as important as a clean layout! The final step was to simplify the site header and make the logo a little smaller to eliminate excessive white space.

Jesse was pleased with the edits and appreciated how the small changes made a big difference while maintaining the core messages of his website.
